Facility Guidelines & Interests for Students/Families
- Students and families should park and enter on the east side of the building closest to Long Hollow Pike (this will be the Children's Entrance and is on the opposite side of the building from the Main Entrance.) You may enter at either the upper level or lower level; however, student check-in will take place on the lower level, which is the Gathering Area.
- Keep all personal belongings in the Gathering Area (the "hang-out" room.)
- Do not take food or drink items outside of the Gathering Area. Only water bottles with lids are allowed in the debate/speech rooms.
- Keep all non-participant children under your supervision at all times, especially younger ones.
- All students must discard debris upon completion of meals into the trash bins provided, both inside the building and outside.
- Do not explore indoor areas of the church beyond areas designated for this tournament. (No exceptions!)
- No running in the building.
- Use only the marked entrances, stairwells, and restrooms.
- Hallways are not hang out areas -- students need to be waiting at their respective rooms during rounds or in the Gathering Area or outside when not competing.
- Keep in mind that we are guests in this building and need to exhibit proper and respectful behavior at all times.
- Use of outdoor Volleyball and Basketball courts is permitted, but the same rules regarding trash clean-up and adult supervision should apply outdoors as well.
